2016 Teen Adventure Trips
Wednesday, July 6th – Midnight Madness: Blitz air park, hilltop fun center, & bowling! Join in for a night full of madness with the Teen Adventure Camp. We will start the night with an hour of jumping at Blitz Air Park! You will fly around the indoor park on wall-to-wall trampolines, show your skills on the slam dunk courts, join in the trampoline dodge ball games and air it out on the free jump court! We will then make our way to Hilltop Fun center for 3 hours of laser tag, go karts, mini golf, & more! Lastly we will head to Dover Bowl for two hours glow bowling and a ride on the bumper cars
Cost: $50 per person -- Includes: One hour at Blitz’s, three hours at hilltop fun center, & two hours of glow bowling.
Bus leaves from Wakefield Rec at 5pm & Foss Field at 430pm
Bus will return to Wakefield Rec at 1am & Foss Field at 1:30am
Wednesday, July 13th – Tubing @ the Saco: Enjoy a relaxing day floating down the crystal clear waters of the Saco River. It is the perfect place for river tubing! The Saco River averages 3 feet deep (some short sections are deeper) with some small rapids, lots of sandy beaches and some rope swings for the more adventurous. All participants are provided a life jacket.
Cost: $25 per person – Includes tube & life jacket rental.
Bus leave from Wakefield Rec at 8:30am & Foss Field at 8am
Bus will return to Wakefield Rec at 6pm & Foss Field at 6:30pm
Wednesday, July 20th – OSG Paintball: Known throughout New England and across the country, OSG Paintball is rated #1 for outstanding customer service, experienced referee staff, diverse terrain, and top-notch fields. Whether you're a single walk-on player or in a group, OSG is guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping and be an experience you will not forget!
Cost: $35 per person – Includes: Admission, rental marker, safety equipment, unlimited co2 canister, and 200 paintballs. (Extra paintballs are available for an additional fee.)
Bus leaves from Wakefield Rec at 8am & Foss Field at 8:30am

Wednesday, July 27th – Boston Red Sox vs. the Detroit Tigers: Enjoy a day at the ballpark with us as we head to Fenway! Though generations have come and gone, Fenway Park remains, much like it did the day it opened on April 20, 1912. There’s nothing like a Red Sox game and a ballpark frank on a summer day! The game starts at 1:35pm. This trip is sure to sell out, sign up early!
Cost: $45 per person - Includes coach bus transportation & right field grandstand seats.

Wednesday August 3– Funtown Splashtown USA: In 2016, Funtown USA celebrates its 50th season! The park features Maine’s only wooden roller coaster, Excalibur, as well as New England’s longest and tallest log flume, Thunder Falls.
Cost: $30 per person --Includes admission to both Funtown & Splashtown.
Bus leaves from Wakefield Rec at 11am & Foss Field at 10:30am
Bus will return to Wakefield Rec at 10pm & Foss Field at 10:30pm
Monday, August 10th – Gunstock Adventure Park: Enjoy hours of fun on the mountain coaster, bungee climber, giant air bag, summer tubing, kayaks & paddle boats, the stunt jumper, water wars, scenic lift rides, & more! Take a walk on the wild side at Gunstocks Aerial Treetop course! Built within the trees along Gunstock's pond, Aerial Treetop Adventure is New England's Largest Aerial Obstacle Course. Some of the features include log ladders, bridges, swings, seesaws, foot bridges and, of course, lots of zip lines.
Cost: $60 per person – Includes: Transportation, Adventure Courses, & treetop course.

Monday – Wednesday, August 15th – 17th –Overnight white water rafting Trip: Paddle down the Kennebec River into rapids like Big Mama and White Washer, with some fun waves reaching 6ft high! On Monday we will set up camp and enjoy an afternoon of fun and games. In the evening you can enjoy the hot tub, pool, and climbing wall. The excitement begins Tuesday morning, as we raft down the Kennebec. We will have a BBQ lunch on the river and enjoy an evening around the camp fire. Please bring a lunch or spending money for the ride up Monday and then ride home Wednesday.
Cost: $160 Resident– Includes: Transportation, 1 day of rafting, 2 nights and 3 days of lodging, and all meals, except lunches on the way up and back. Leaving Monday and Returning Wednesday.

These trips are geared for participants grades 6th & up. Our Teen Adventure Camp offers participants a chance to see some of the great things New England has to offer. Participants must be able to follow general directions and instructions, as safety is our number one priority. On teen trips we expect everyone to be respectful and behave appropriately, if negative behavior becomes an issue, the participant will be removed from the program and no refund shall be granted.
All trips are limited to only a handful of participants. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. To ensure a spot, please register as early as possible. Deposits should be made to reserve a seat, but all fees must be paid in full before the desired trip.
